Situated between the historic Village of Bloomfield and Town of East Bloomfield, “The Mile” refers to a stretch of 5 and 20 known for its large concentration of antique shops (over 200 dealers represented). Happily for explorers, it actually encompasses more than three miles, and includes a few notable gems tucked back on nearby side roads.

Each place has its own personality and history. There’s Peddlar’s Antiques, a rambling cooperative housed in a repurposed auto garage (note: complimentary coffee and powder room), One Potato Two (50+ dealers in a former potato processing plant), and Seth Fagan Rare Books (tons of books in a huge barn, plus resident feline Willa Cathair and her canine companion Hershey Kisses).
